How often can i take Tylenol?

Can I take it daily? I am 29 weeks and just starting to get bad back pain.

I would talk to your OB or midwife. I don’t think it’s recommended to take Tylenol daily. Try using a heating pad on your back for 10-15 minutes it should help a little

I was told 3000 mg in 24 hours max. My OB has never said not to take it daily if you need it.

No you shouldn’t take it daily - it’s considered generally safe for pregnancy but it’s not like any actual studies were done on usage in pregnant women. Unfortunately pains are very normal and common in pregnancy and it is just part of it and just something you will have to accept and find other ways to deal with like stretching or walking or an exercise ball etc

I wouldn’t take it daily. You can use biofreeze for your back pain instead. I used it throughout my second trimester. Baby came out fine. Both my regular OB and high risk doc okayed using it when I asked.

I was told 2 extra strength every 6 hours was okay. Definitely wouldn't be taking an every day thing. Im having twins and the chiropractor/massage saved my life 🤗

2 extra stregnth every 6 to 8 hrs. 8 hrs is prefered that way you dont get more than 6 in a 24 hr time period

My OB said I could take it as much as it’s recommended, but I just personally don’t want to be taking it that frequently. 
If you do need to take it, make sure it’s not on an empty stomach and that you drink lots of water
