I'm trying to get hold of the pharmacy but no one is answering.

So my daughter is on an antibiotic for an ear infection and I was about to give it to her, but she ate yogurt maybe half an hour ago. On the last antibiotic (amoxycillan) they said no yogurt within 2 hours of the medication. Now she's on omnicef and all the info I can find says don't take iron or antacids within two hours...

Does anyone know why the 2 hour window?

I assume it would be the same rule for the yogurt with this one as it was with the amoxycillan?

I would just wait to be safe. But she's going to be asleep for the night pretty soon.
