My daughter is 8 months old. About 2 weeks ago, I gave her a jar of Gerber food that had pears, cinnamon, and oatmeal. A few hours later, she started vomiting. My brother in law is allergic to cinnamon and she had never had it before so I just figured it was that. She’s had rice cereal so I didn’t think it was the oatmeal. Well this morning, I fed her another jar of Gerber baby food that had Apples, bananas, and oatmeal. And hour or so later, and she’s now vomiting again. I’m guessing it’s for sure the oatmeal. Has anyone dealt with this before? I Googled it, which probably wasn’t a good idea, but it was saying something about FPIES? Should I be worried? I’m gonna tell her doctor at her 9 month checkup and see what she says and stay away from oats for now!
