Do I have to have a infant car seat that comes out of car?

Because I would rather buy one that stays in the car. (It’s for infant and up) this is my second baby and I used the one that comes out of the car the first time & would rather just buy one car seat and be done!

I’ve heard the hospital won’t let you leave if you don’t have an infant car seat but I’m not sure how true that is. I’d call the hospital and ask. But for me personally, the infant seat was nice for the first two months, but our daughter HATES it now. I honestly wish we would have skipped it and just went with a convertible seat.

I'd check with your hospital to make sure it's okay but we plan on using only a convertible carseat this time around. For my first I only used to infant seat for 6 weeks. It was heavy and baby isn't supposed to stay in it that long anyways.
