It's not ourselves or kids we need to worry about it's the sick and old and if we can do anything to limit the spread and save them We should. Italy just announced anyone over 80 or who is already terminally ill, will not get icu treatment and will be allowed to die. Horrific. And most countries are likely to make the same decision if it comes down to it. Please do not be selfish. Let kods play in your yard if needed. You don't wanna be the cause of people losing their lives for the sake of a play date.

I’m staying away from crowded public places.... but if it’s a nice day, I will meet friends at the park. None of my friends are currently working, none of the kids are going to daycare or school. If we aren’t sick and aren’t going anywhere in public... I’m not worried .

Fuck no. We're supposed to be limiting social interaction to help slow down the spread of this. It drives me crazy when people don't treat this seriously as if it's just their lives at stake. I went out to get food we needed (because we needed more now that my daughter and husband will be staying home as well with schools being closed and his job doing mandatory work from home) and that's the last time any of us are leaving the house unless it's something we have to have

Nope we are staying away from other people as much as we can. I'll still take my toddler out but it will be to the beach or to walk a trail or something. Not a playdate!

There are too many vulnerable people to not take this seriously. Even if you, your family, and your friends' families could contract and recover from coronavirus, there are so many others that would be in danger from one of you guys traveling around while infected. Stopping to get gas on the way there? You could pass the virus to a woman whose daughter is high risk and could pass away if she gets the virus. Or maybe that woman's father, or her aunt with breast cancer, or her pregnant sister. Think of others. Don't be selfish.

Absolutely not. This Saturday I was supposed to celebrate my sons bday and I had invited the grandparents and the uncles. Very close family, I’m talking maybe 12 ppl total. I cancelled because social distancing means avoiding unnecessary gatherings. Better be safe than sorry. Be safe and stay healthy everyone!
