My potty trained 4 year 4 month old son decided to pee all over his room. WTF?!

He got in trouble for not listening and was sent to his room about 30 minutes early for his usual nap. I specifically told him to go potty first. I watched him go into the bathroom and heard him pee. Then I explained that because he was in trouble for not listening, he would start his naptime early. Even though he knows that he can leave his room during naptime to potty, I reminded him that he was only to leave his room if he had to potty. I told him I love him and said I'll see him after nap.

Normally he is in and out of his room about 3 times before he passes out for about 2 hours. This time nothing.

I went up about 2.5 hours later to check on him and he was sound asleep, but his room smelled like pee. I woke him up and asked him if he had an accident, and the conversation went like this:

Me: I smell pee. Did you have an accident?

4yo: No. Nope. I just peed.

Me: What? Where?

4yo: I said... I just peed.

Me: What? Where?

4yo: Everywhere

Me: What? Why?

4yo: Because you told me not to...

Me: Because I told you not to... what?

4yo: Because you told me not to pee in my room and to go potty in the bathroom. So I peed in my room.

Me: Why would you do that? We pee in the toilet.

4yo: But you still love me anyways.

WTF?!?!

I have no idea how to handle this! He's been acting out lately and getting in trouble. The normal stand in the corner for 4 minutes doesn't work anymore.

I also overheard him talking with his 5.5 year old sister in the backyard the other day...

4yo: Stop being a crybaby, crybaby!!

5yo: I'm going to tell on you!! You cannot hit people with sticks!!

4yo: I don't care!! Mom and Dad will still love me anyways!! CRYBABY!!

He knows he is not allowed to hit anyone. It's one of our house rules. We told him that it's a house rule and he needs to follow the house rules to live in the house and he said that he can just live outside in his tent.

4yo: I can just live in MY tent and tell MY flowers and MY sticks what to do!!

Me: Ok. So you want to live outside in your tent?

4yo: Yes!!!! Then when I turn 18 and I'm an adult, I can tell PEOPLE what to do!!!!
