My 5 month old daughter hardly cries, but she has tantrums like no other now. Her daddy decided it’s ok “since it’s not harming her” (he has 3 other kids therefore “knows more than me” when it coming to “raising children”) for her to watch tv 3 feet from the television and watch and play on an iPad. I’ve had reservations from the beginning, that she was going to be stimulated too much. And now when she can’t have an iPad or iPhone, or watch tv she gets pissed, and beyond fussy. She’ll scream at the top of her lungs like someone is killing her I swear and kicks like crazy, and arches her back. It’s so hard to calm her down. When I’m on my phone my daughter is always trying to look at it, touch it etc. I don’t know how to explain to my boyfriend that the television, iPad and phones aren’t good for her just because he wants an easy babysitter and doesn’t want to interact with her. He’s the kind of person that thinks he’s always right about everything.
