Are you continuing ttc during the CoronaVirus?

Question

We were going to do our IUI this next cycle. Many clinics are cancelling all elective treatments and procedures. We are obviously holding off on IUI but undecided if we should ttc naturally or not. I don’t know how long the virus will be going around and any issues that might come from being pregnant during this time.

We aren’t going to skip a cycle. Who knows how long it’ll take us to conceive, I won’t miss a chance!

I’m waiting. There’s too much unknown about how coronavirus affects a fetus and I also don’t want to be going into doctors’ offices amidst all this. That’s my personal preference. TTC can wait a few months.

I’m scheduled to do my first IVF egg retrieval next week. It’s paid for and I’m on powerful stimulation hormones right now, so it would probably be even more risky for me to stop at this point. I’m not getting any younger, so the sooner I can collect my eggs the better, but we may hold off on the actual transfer until this calms down a bit.
