Best breakout remedies?

I've been experiencing horrible acne for the last 2.5 months or so. I've never had amazing skin in general, but lately I've been breaking out in large pimples all around my cheeks and chin. I'm wondering if I need to switch up my face wash. I started using benzoyl peroxide face wash followed by a gel, and it was working well until recently.

Suggestions are welcomed and appreciated! Thank you!

African Black Soap is amazing ! I've just started using it (got it from eBay - get the one that looks like brown poo, not the solid black bar). I had broken out in really bad spots, but this has cleared it up in a matter of days and made my skin look creamy and smooth, which I never had before x

A friend of mine who works at Sephora in skin care always tells me it's important to switch up your skin routine from time to time. Sometimes your skin develops a tolerance to your routine and becomes less effective! So this might be the perfect time to try something new! Also consider your diet! Salty, greasy and super sugary foods can impact your skin too! Good luck :) :)

I use coconut oil and the Clinique face wash. I put the coconut oil on my face before I get in the shower and let it sit there while I wash my hair and everything else. Then finally the last thing I do is wash my face really well with the Clinique. This has been helping so much! (And cut cost because I no longer use the other 2 steps to the Clinique process) but I've found that if I miss a day my face breaks out again.

I've had acne for about 5 years and I use acne cream from the doctor. and I usually use Cetaphil, it's very gentle and won't irritate your skin. I also use Bioré, there are a bunch of them but the Charcol wash works amazing for acne. You can get them both at he drugstore, Walmart or Ebay

Benzol Peroxide is a no-go for the majority of women and men who suffer with acne. Salicylic Acid has always worked for me! Check out the La-Roche Posay Effaclar line of skincare. (If you're in the US, you can find it in Target or online. In the UK, Boots) It's incredible stuff! Also make sure you keep your hands off your face, drinking plenty of water, avoid anything with formaldehyde (skin antagonizer) and eating good foods. Standard advice, really!

Treating yourself to a nice facial mask is an option, too!
