My work is choosing to stay open during this virus.

I work in a children’s ministry at a church, and the governor in my state has ordered no large gatherings with more than 25 people. We have more than 25 people attend our church. I haven’t been able to work last weekend because my mom prefers me to stay home and self quarantined ( I’m 17 yrs old btw.) I have hypothyroidism which is an autoimmune disease that overall puts me at higher risk. I am disappointed in my work environment and the people there that they are choosing to do this against the governor’s recommendation and the CDC. I LOVE my job but I’m afraid I’m gonna lose it because I haven’t been able to go to work last weekend and I can’t go again until this virus slows it’s roll.💔 my anxiety is through the roof. I don’t know wether or not I should just tell them I need to quit because if they’re choosing to stay open during this, I cannot attend.
