Anyone else unemployed because of the virus?! 🙄

I understand taking precautions and staying away from other people to prevent the spread of the virus. It’s just a bummer when we have bills to pay..

I was recently unemployed before all of this but unfortunately with kids being out of school and not having child care, it looks like I don't have much of a choice but to be unemployed throughout this entire thing.

I’m a part-time babysitter and I unfortunately lost my job. I most likely will not get this job back if the schools go online the rest of the year. As a broke college student, I’m absolutely heartbroken! The pay is amazing and it fits right in with my schedule - I won’t find that with any other job. Looking for some positivity in the midst of all this chaos. 💔

Yet being the key word. I work in a fast food restaurant. I imagine it'll only be a matter of time before someone with the virus comes in and exposes us, making us shut down

I work in a school for disabled kids , we are closed indefinitely.. thankfully I’m still getting paid .. for now at least

I’m a hairstylist and it’s mandated that we close doors for 30 days... completely unemployed until further notice. We don’t get benefits, pto, etc. So sad and scary.

I’m a convenient store manager and we still open... taking as many precautions as I can... it’s slowed down a lot.. about half the business as usual

Im a server and no one is coming out to eat because of the social distancing. I've made $40 for 3 night shifts, so yea, I guess I could be considered unemployed 😒
