I prefer it just Storm just because when I was in school, there was the cutest little girl named Storm and I have loved the name ever since but if you like Stormi then go for it!

I have a friend who named their daughter Cyanne Rain and I loved it. My husband went by his middle name until his 20s as be disliked his first name. 
So the name is different but if you love it then go for it. One thing we did when trying names was use the name and talk to my belly.. it helped knock names off our list pretty quick. Funny thing is that we didn't pick any of our original list names when my son was born... We picked one that just popped into our heads the day we went to the hospital. When he came out we knew that was it.
