How to check 1 year olds temperature?

My daughter isnt sick yet and doesn't have a fever but i had planned to buy an ear thermometer but with everyone hoarding and buying everything out i can't find one so all i have is her original oral/rectal thermometer, i know it works for armpits as well. what would be the best way to check her temperature since i don't have an ear thermometer?

Rectal temperature is going to be the most accurate for any baby under 2 years old. Axillary (armpit) would be second best. The thermometer you have will be just fine ☺️

I always check my daughters temp under her arm. Honestly I have an ear thermometer and never use it because it’s junk. If you take under the arm make sure to add a degree to the temp.
