STD/STI? Help please

Question

I had unprotected sex with a guy back in early November. And something cryptic he said to me the other day has me worried/panicked that he thinks he gave me an STD/STI. I don’t have any weird discharge or bad smells, and I had blood work done back in January to check my iron levels. If I had something wouldn’t it have popped up in my blood work in January? And is it possible to have something but not have any weird discharge or bad smells?

It is possible to not be symptomatic for months or even years with an STI
And if the bloodwork was just for iron, then no they would not have found it, because they weren't looking for it.
I'm not sure what state you're in, but here in Oregon right now you can't have any non-emergent medical procedures. If your state is still letting you, go to or call your Dr and they will run the appropriate tests.

It's definitely possible, many STDs do not protective signs and symptoms. And u less your blood work was specifically for an STD, no it won't have shown anything. If you are concerned you need to be seen.

Sounds like you should make an appt with your Gyne to do a full check-up with bloodwork. At least you’ll have answers and peace of mind.
