Is it bad to go to prom with a sophomore?

I have this friend that I sorta have a thing with, I’m a senior he’s a sophomore. There’s no one in my grade that I want to go to prom with and I think I would have a really good time with him because he’s so fun, but isn’t it kind of weird to bring a sophomore to a senior prom?
