22 weeks pregnant

Is it to soon to start buying baby clothes? Am 22 weeks pregnant and I'm having a baby boy, this is my 4th baby my youngest is 9 and i have never had a miscarriage but my closest friend lost her baby from placenta detachment around her 40 weeks. Seeing how she stayed with everything makes me so sad and scared, i want this to be my last baby and my kids and husband are so excited that we want to throw the house away (figurative language) and spoil him with everything we see...but i cant help and think of my friend...now i ask is it to soon or is it ok to start and stop being scare?....
