How do you know if you have an yeast infection?

I had a yeast infection once and I had no idea the only symptom I had was clumpy cottage cheese discharge and I didn't do anything about it I just left it in there and eventually my vag was so itchy and the discharge is like fresh cottage cheese or something

Yes you actually will I had one a long time ago when you go to the bathroom it hurts coming out and it's form hold it in to long it is very anoying cause you have to get it clean out that's more anoying

Sometimes you can get no other symptoms other than just burning. But yea burning, extreme itchiness, white cottage cheese like discharge, swelling, pain with sex.

Best thing is over the counter thrush medication. If it's really bad there's a cream that relieves the itching and burning. If the over the counter cream doesn't work then there is something doctors can prescribe.

Also to avoid getting yeast infection, good hygiene is a must, but it can also happen if you have been taking a course of antibiotics and it's made your body's natural bacteria out of whack. There are probiotics you can take that are stronger than yogurt and should be available over the counter as well.
