Pyelectasis

Hi all!

My daughter was diagnosed with fetal pyelectasis at our 20 week anatomy scan. Since then, the fluid has drained from her left kidney, but worsened in her right. We have another follow up scan on March 30th (35w 2d) to check the drainage progress.

My doctor didn't give me much of an answer on what happens if the fluid doesn't drain by birth. Should I expect my daughter to go to the NICU if it doesn't resolve?

What are your experiences with pyelectasis?
