Does anyone have a person that you used to date that you believe really truly was the “one that got away”? 
Or/Also do you believe that there are people who lose each other even though they are meant to be?

I don't believe in it. I just think people like to wonder about the "what ifs".

I had this guy that was hung up over me for 8 years and I always assumed he was the one that got away and he was my one because he actually really liked me and we connected in a way I never connected with anyone else and no matter who or what happened I would think of him and we lost touch and I didn’t have his number. Long story short he got my number, asked me out took me out and had a whole girlfriend he hid from me and now his not in my life so sometimes God protected us even though I miss the prick

People romance things like the movies.. sometimes people do get back together and are happy again.. it depends on maturity.. why they broke up.. but overall.. I really wouldn't get back with an ex.. I'm happy with my husband.. if we ended.. once it's over.. it's dead.
