My daughter was born 6 days ago at 34 week gestation, so she's had to be in the nicu and I've had to exclusively pump again! (I ep'd with my first daughter for 6 months) I'm super proud of myself for making 100 mls total in one pumping session! I was so discouraged as I only made like 5 mls a day the first 2 days. But I was determined, and knew the same thing happened with my first daughter and I remember I just have to keep pumping "8 or more in 24" I kept it up and here we are! I'm making more than I did so far with my first daughter! To all you ladies exclusively pumping for your nicu babies, you can do it! I know everybody's different, when their milk comes in and such, but keep it up! Drink lots of water, stick to a pumping schedule of 8 times a day, and you will get there in time!
