Did you ever receive a false negative when you ended up actually being pregnant?

Hi there! I’m now 13 days late and thinking I could be pregnant. I’ve taken two tests both which are negative. For a year now I’ve never been more than two days late. How common has it been for you ladies to have a false negative, when you were actually pregnant? I’d go to the doctor but the GYN has weird hours and is packed full because of COVID19.

There are other reasons to be late or miss a cycle. Pregnancy tests are pretty accurate these days and while a rare amount of people experience false negatives, it’s extremely unlikely. Perhaps you didn’t ovulate this cycle or something caused a shift in hormones. Good luck.
