Getting a hysterectomy a part of being a woman

My mother just told me that getting my tubes tied or hysterectomy is a part of being a woman. 😂

This came about because I am pregnant with my last child, my third and our sixth, and I do not want to have any altering surgeries. She thinks that we will continue to have children because apparently we don’t know how to have safe sex. Even if we do, who cares! They’re our responsibility and we are fully capable of taking care of our children.

I just found it quite funny that she said having an electoral, body altering surgery is a part of being a woman.

And, just to throw this in there, I will never ask my husband to get a vasectomy either.
