Does your period go back to normal after having a baby?

Ugh I got my first period since I’ve had my son😩 it just started today. Will it go back to normal? Honestly I kinda don’t remember what it was like.. I just stuck in a super tampon & when it was full I changed it🤷🏻‍♀️ but now I’m just going to use pads. After wearing pads for 8 weeks I’m kinda used to it. Now at the 9th week I get my period 💔

My period was heavier and I have severe cramps after having my daughter(going on 5 years) and while I still have pms I no longer get sensitive boobs right before my period.

So i had baby the first of oct. Last year. Had my first period 8 weeks PP. .. Was surpsingly not bad...... The 2nd one........HA!!!!!!! Mother nature said "hold my beer." 
Then its kinda been all over the board.... Pre child it was 7 days long..... Now its a couple- 5 days "late" most times.... Can be about 6 days or 7 long.. Or this last one was 4 days early.... 
Im assuming it will get it together eventually. Hahah

My period regulated right away (got it 16 months pp with my first and 12 months pp with my second)

It will eventually regulate again. I found the first few really heavy. Then went back to the flow I was used to. My cycle also shortened when it did regulate. I went from 28 days cycles to 23.
