(This was not written by me, just a post that i felt needed to be shared, i hope it eases peoples minds)

I had an experience with a patient today that I want to share. As you know, I’m an ultrasound Sonograher, and right now my conversations with expecting mothers can be filled with many emotions. During a scan today, one expecting mother expressed her fear of bringing a child into the world at this time of panic and chaos. I could feel how unsettled she was. I had some powerful words come to my mind that I shared with her at that moment. The words were that the generation coming into the world right now will be the strongest we’ve ever seen. This generation will be resilient to so many problems and know how to face adversity because they were born in it. They will lead us along when the world is in chaos and turmoil, they will stand strong, and they will be a force for good because that’s what they were born to do. When faced with fear, this generation will face everything and rise. Just watch, they will amaze us with their courage to do hard things. I told this expecting mother that it is a privilege to bring a baby into the world at this time. It’s an honor to be a mother of the rising generation and we need mothers in the world to teach this generation how to be the good in the world. So for my family and friends who are expecting or have hopes and dreams to have a family one day, I hope my experience today will bring you hope to know there are good days ahead. We need mothers who can teach their children how to love, serve, and look outside ourselves. Though the world may be different than our childhood, this upcoming generation has been saved and prepared for this time. They will be the light in a darkening world. They will amaze us - just wait and see. 😉
