During the quarantine, do you think it's easier with young kids or older kids?

I have 2 toddlers. If I really think about it, I guess it's easier with them because I don't REALLY have to explain everything that's happening. They're easily entertained. They're simpler. They don't whine about boredom. They're happy with toys, TV, walks, yard. We pretty much do the same thing we always do since before the quarantine (except playdates and parks).

I would guess it’s easiest with teens because they’re fairly self-sufficient and are pretty good at staying inside all day every day anyway during summer and spring break. At least, I was! 😂
Also, teens can help out with more chores than younger kids can. I used to help my dad with dinner often.

I have a teen at home, and he’s been fine.  Him and his friends are bummed they can’t see other but they’re making do online.  A couple of them have serious health conditions so they are more than willing to suck it up because they understand the consequences.  Little kids don’t understand, I think that would be very very hard

It’s definitely easiest without kids. Really glad I don’t have any rn. Having kids would suck massively

For me it’s tough trying to wfh with a 4 month old but feel like that would be so much easier with middle or teen kids who wouldn’t be as needy (although probably a lot more whiny)

I don’t know because I only have a toddler.  I’d say it’s hard because she’s a lot of work and she’s bored 🤣 she misses her daycare buddies and having toddlers her age to play with!

No changes with my 6 month old. Shes oblivious. My nephew is 13 and hes going crazy not able to see his friends. Thinking back to me as a teen. I'd be losing my mind. But that was before you could video call on your phone lol.

Just have an 8 month old, life as usual for him! He is used to mom only most the time working from home. It’s harder on me knowing we can’t really go anywhere

My daughter will be a year old on Friday.
I wish she was older. She's happy enough, but I'm going crazy. I want to go out!
And my boss expects me to work from home soooo I really wish that I could just let her watch a movie or something. That she would be able to entertain herself more. But she wants and needs my attention!
And I find that very hard.
