Help! Can't feel my iud strings!

I just had the paragard iud inserted 3/19. Checked my strings a day later and could feel them. Had sex for the first time that night and havent felt them since. Should I be worried or is this normal? My boyfriend said he didnt feel the strings during sex and it wasn't painful.
