At what age did you start wearing makeup?

One offs don't count. For example i'm not counting the time someone put makeup on me for a dance I did in school. I'm talking about when you started wearing makeup to go out and stuff.

i was 25 when i first tried makeup because of youtube lol. then i became obsessed and bought everything you can think of from mac, sephora, ulta, etc. it was a phase for me. now i’m back to lip gloss and ponds lotion for a glow lol

I wasn’t allowed to wear makeup until I turned 16. Even then my mother complained about it. She only let me do it because I had just come out as bi and she was scared that her daughter would turn into a dike (which I would never do) but I played with her fear and I got what I wanted 🤷🏻‍♀️

started wearing makeup at 19... when i was old enough to buy my own. i always wanted to wear makeup and no one told me i couldn’t i just wanted my own products to mess and play with. i honestly started as being insecure but now i’m 23 and do not have the energy for it anymore 😂

i’m 16 and i don’t plan on ever wearing makeup daily. i have a huge respect for people who do it and are good at it but i’ve never cared enough to learn and when i do put it on (like once in a blue moon for special events lol) it clogs my pores.

I’ve had periods where I wore makeup daily, mostly from 16-18. Now that I’m an adult, I rarely wear it, as it’s expensive, annoying to put on and take off, and I don’t work a job that prioritizes appearance.

I'm 23 and still don't wear makeup everyday. Even when I do it's just eyeliner and maybe mascara. My mom first introduced me to eyeliner when I was 12-13 but I could just never get into a routine to wear makeup everyday

I was like 12-13 when I started wearing eye make up, at the very least I always had eye liner. My skin was never a fan of wearing make up all over my face and I don’t care much for lipstick, it never stays anyhow. Even the expensive brands that are supposed to stay, nope. Not on my lips 😅
When my son was born I stopped wearing it as much. I just lacked motivation. Then I got really healthy for a year and fell in love with my natural beauty and now it’s half too lazy to do it and half I look good most days without it. Except this year I’ve been unhealthy and I just see it, ya know? Dehydration, uneven tone, a little sagging around the chin. Ick...
I’m using my coronavirus-social distancing-no work time to reset my health habits. Lol

I tried lipstick in middle school, fail. I think i tried again in high school. Honestly, i didn’t really get into makeup until late college/law school. 
Its not that my parents forbade it or anything, i just didnt care when i was young.
