Postpartum pads?

Question

Currently 38 weeks and constantly trying to prepare for baby boys arrival. So question: what pads (for those of you choosing that route) are you planning on buying/bought in the past for the postpartum bleeding? 
I haven’t worn a pad since I was probably in middle school but I know that and disposable underwear is pretty much the only way to go after.

I got disposable underwear for the heavy part, and normally for the lighter days I would get Always Infinity with flexfoam, but wasn't able to find any. 😒 If you can find those, I highly recommend. Super thin and comfy and absorbent. I ordered some seventh generation ones instead and hoping they are good. I hate pads, lol.

I like the always overnight pads with wings. They’re like wider in the back which is nice. I used them with my first and they were perfect so I’m getting those again! Get them now, it took me some shopping on amazon before I found what I needed because of the pandemic hoarders 😡

Try and find pads without plastic. Here in Holland that's the black night time "kotex". No plastic makes them breathable which is better for healing of stitches.

Heavier flow protection. Also bought witch hazel pads- awesome for front & your back (in a pad).

I always bought two big packs of the super pads with wings. Also, my Hospital always sent me home with a bunch of theirs & an ice pack pad to bring home... they work wonders. :)

Use what the hospital gives you while you’re there, and then these for home! I hate pads that are thick and diaper-like... these are so thin and comfortable but absorb A TON. I always get two boxes, one overnight and one heavy flow.
