Hi guys, lately I’ve been having an issue with pain during sex. A little over a week ago I (tried) to have sex and it was extremely painful. My period started later that day so I didn’t think too much of it. My period ended yesterday and I attempted to have sex again today and it was extremely painful. I had to stop my boyfriend and broke down crying because it hurt and I was embarrassed. He completely understood and was very sweet about it, but I’m still very upset about it. The pain was almost exactly like when I had a yeast infection and attempted to have sex (I didn’t know I had the infection). But I’m currently not having any other symptoms of a yeast infection. Just severe pain during sex. Could this still be a yeast infection? Or is it something else? What can I do to stop it? The pain is on the inside of my vagina and tmi but it felt like his dick was a knife going inside of me.

Also please don’t judge, I’m only 18 and I’m in the middle of moving out of my moms house, still figuring my insurance/doctor stuff out, so I don’t have a way of seeing a doctor at the moment.

My boyfriend and I have been having sex for over two years and I’ve never had this issue before other than when I had a yeast infection, which happened over a month ago now.
