Should i talk to this guy?

So im a freshman in high school and i have my first small crush in a while. The guy in question is a junior. I have one class with him of which I've spoken to him once. He seems like a super sweet guy and he has beautiful eyes. My problem is that i want to get to know him but seeing as I don't have any social media for personal reasons AND my state has shut down all our school until April, i dont really have any way to talk to him. Im debating between emailing him and likely looking like a total creep or just leaving it be and waiting until school starts up again, if at all possible.
