Please reassure me- so my SIL had a baby a week ago. Whom we haven’t seen yet due to the coronavirus. She called me sobbing last night asking what they did to our family that we wouldn’t even come see the baby and she’s almost a week old. I feel terrible as we are close to them but with the pandemic I don’t want to risk swapping germs. Not to mention her sister is an ICU nurse who had Covid patients on her floor and was there visiting this weekend. I feel terrible she is upset and I assured her it’s the circumstances but she is so upset with us.
