I understand how serious the virus is and all, but I feel like telling women they have to deliver alone and are not allowed at least one support person will only do more harm than good in the long run. It just seems cruel. I am terrified my husband will not be able to attend the birth of our first child. If you’ve been living with your husband this whole time, wouldn’t you both be at risk for bringing the virus to the hospital? 😒 So what good does it do to tell women they have to deliver alone?

To me, it makes more sense to not have high risk people allowed on the labor and delivery hall of the hospital, rather than making women go through this alone. The mental health of women is just as important as the virus in my opinion...
