Hi People

My baby girl is 7weeks old and Her outer lips are pink...only the inner lips which touch my breasts during breast feed are black. I wiped her lips with a wet cloth or cotton this evening ...but i'm not sure if i'm doing it right.

Please advise me the right procedure to wipe baby lips after breast feed. A lot of them say that if lips are not wiped then they remain black forever...is it true??

How long does it take for babies lips to turn pink?? .

are there any home remedies that i can try??
