Bronchitis caused by heart burn

So this pregnancy I have had the absolute worst heartburn / acid reflux whatever you wanna call it. It hurts so bad and is so constant and tums/ the other meds don’t even work.

Well at 37 weeks I got bronchitis. No cold before hand or anything and no one in the house was sick and no one ever got sick, only me.

It’s not been 3 weeks since I first came down with it and I still have a nasty lingering cough and my chest is soo sore and I’m still having the acid problems 😫

My dr really hasn’t done anything but say take robitussin and trying out different meds for the acid.

Any mamas been through this? I didn’t even know it was a thing
