Will he get out?

I saw this on the news today and it ignited an interesting discussion.

Some people are saying he’s most likely going to be released now considering his age, and now illness etc. since they don’t want other inmates to contract it. 
Others are saying he’s most likely going to stay in jail since he did commit violent crimes. 
Do you think Weinstein will be released or do you think they will allow him to stay in there under quarantine possibly solitary?

To the best of my knowledge they’re only releasing non violent offenders, and at this point I believe only jail inmates, not prisoners. 
Since his crimes were violent, I’d guess no. He may wind up in some sort of offsite medical quarantine to protect the general population, but not released from custody.

I’m guessing they will quarantine him. If I’m not mistaken, a few others in that prison have it as well so unfortunately there’s already exposure. The crimes and the amount of instances he is guilty of, he should not be released. If it gets bad, I guess they’d just handcuff him to a hospital bed like they do others? Don’t know

I doubt they will since there will be a lot of backlash but I have also seen men who have been released that were murderers so sometimes the crime itself doesnt really matter. I think it may have something to do with if they are eligible for parole though, not positive but I know a few factors go into the choice to let someone out.
