Any other women suffer from interstitial cystitis?

I need help. I haven’t been able to be intimate with my husband for a long time. I was diagnosed with IC in college but I am at a loss for how to live with this. I’m desperate for help and open to any suggestions. 😭

I have it as well but I think my case is fairly mild. From what I’ve read they say to take time with foreplay and don’t rush into any penetration so you can be as primed as possible. There may be lubricants and things that can help too. There are some good websites out there with discussion boards. I’ve found good suggestions to my questions on those.

I have it. I was diagnosed in 2012 and they did a procedure called hydrodistention and it changed everything! Maybe ask your urologist about it
