Dear empaths..is it just me? Please help

I wanna know if its just me or is it an empath thing?

Sometimes I spread myself thin in worrying if ill upset someone else. Walk on egg shells. Ill go out of my way to make sure everyone else is comfortable before i worry if I am. I try to avoid the confrontation.

I also sometimes project my feelings onto others. Which is probably somwthing entierly separate from being empathetic but it is something I'm working on.

Tips for these topics that have helped you?? Please help

I'm trying to monitor my thoughts and emotions to help with this but ive only recelty started.
