Everything on his phone is deleted when i go on it?

I know all of us girls do it. We check our mans phone just too settle nerves. My boyfriend always leaves his phone around me and lets me go on it but his conversations on all social media(twitter dms, instagram dms) is all deleted along with all his messages for imessage and texting. ive asked him about it and he said he doesnt like having conversations open on his phone since it takes up storage and what not. should i be worried?
