Are you already in college? If so, I say stick it out. You might regret it if you don't. 
Afterwards, you can still take online classes and get a job. But you also have a degree from a college that could get you a job, too. 
I faced a similar problem. I'm deciding to graduate from college, then continue taking online classes and get a job. But I have the backup of my degree.

It's hard for anyone to make this judgment without knowing the full situation. I think if you get a part-time job, depending on how tough your classwork is, you should still be able to go to school full-time (I mean, 12 hours a senester). Maybe try working as a server in a restaurant? If you're at a place where people tip well, you can make a lot more money per hour than a minimum wage job.

If you can free up time to get a job and still finish school online, go for it. Look into competency based schools.
