We just moved into our first home 3 weeks ago, still awaiting our first utility bill. At our last duplex, our water was $90, our power was $100-150. We didn’t have a sprinkler system as it was a rental, had a different type of grass. We hired a lawn/pest company to help bring our new house’s grass back to life (it’s patchy a lot with brown dry spots) and they told us to up our sprinkler system to 55 minutes per zone (4 zones) for 3 days a week. That’s almost 4 hours a day. Is this going to skyrocket water bill?
