I have had a 6cm cyst on my right ovary since Feb. I found out because it caused me such horrible pain that I had to go to the ER, however, it's still there. The dr. just wants to give me birth control to shrink it, and has said it won't interfere w/getting pregnant. But, I don't want to take the BC because I want to have a baby!!! What should I do, and will the cyst itself cause me problems with conceiving? Not sure I trust the dr.
