Heartbeat on ultrasound lowers risk of MC?

I've read that once you see or hear the baby's heartbeat the chance of miscarriage goes down significantly, no matter how far along you are. Has anyone been told this by their Dr?

It’s not that having a heartbeat lowers the risk of miscarriage but that once there is a strong heartbeat at 8 weeks then it is unlikely that a miscarriage will happen!

I don’t know if lower the risk but is more unlikely to happen. Was not my case but the heartbeat was really low.

Not in my case at my 8 week us it was 138 then 2 days later it had stopped.

Was not my case either . The heart beat went from 150 to 95 in a week then stopped completely . But every pregnancy is different :)
