What to do with left over oil after frying?

I’ve always wanted to make homemade donuts or fried my own chicken, but I don’t know what to do with the left over oil. I know you’re not supposed to pour it down the drain, but how else would you dispose of it? Pour it in bottles ?

wait for it to cool, then pour it into a disposable container (milk/juice cartons, takeout boxes, etc). you can also pour it into a small container and freeze it so it'll come out as a solid and you can easy wrap it up in a bag and throw it out.

I pour mine into a soup can or something similar  and let it dry and then throw it away.  If I don’t have any cans, I’ve let it dry in a coffee cup and then scrape it into the trash.

I pour it in a can for soda and let it get hard then put it in the trash.
A bottle is fine too as long as it isnt still hot
