It’s been just over a month since my laparoscopic surgery (feb 19) and was wondering if anyone experienced endo growing back immediately after surgery? I was pain free for a couple week but just finished my menstrual cycle and I’m having pain in my pelvic area and just don’t know if this is normal or if I should be concerned.

Full back story:

I’m 29 years old and found out 5 months ago that I had endometriosis. In December my scans seemed mild and my doctors weren’t too concerned. By end of January I ended up in the ER because I couldn’t stop vomiting and became severely dehydrated. New scans showed more endometriosis and 2 large cysts on my ovaries (6 cm on left, 10cm on right). My doctor was confident she could remove the endo and cysts without problems. The endo, cysts and a abscess (didn’t show on scans) had damaged my right side and they had to remove that ovary and Fallopian tube. They were able to save my left ovary and Fallopian tube but the tube had been damaged from all the endo.

Due to the damage my doctor told me my husband and I will need to ttc through <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a>. My first appointment is in May. Also if you have suggested questions I should ask during my appointment I would greatly appreciate it!!
