I'm 28weeks 3days with gestational diabetes and asthma. I have been on metformin for a week bc I'm no longer able to be diet controlled.

I currently work for the postal service delivering mail. I'm supposed to be checking my sugars after lunch and am eating 3 times during my shifts. Unfortunately, the businesses that are on or near my route are closed and I'm struggling with cleaning my hands before eating. I'm also afraid since I'm high risk of contracting coronavirus. Would you keep working through it or have Dr allow you to stay home until the virus is becoming more controlled and it's safe for you to return? I'm stuck on what to do, I don't want to lose my job but I also don't want to harm myself or my family if I bring it home.
