Hey everyone!

So I got my tongue pierced about a year ago and I noticed that my tongue was feeling sore on the left side. I also noticed some white 'stuff' underneath my tonuge, where the piercing is. It's only getting worse too. Today I removed what seemed like white skin. I'm also just getting over a congestion problem, so I don't know if that's what caused this irritation. I'm also wondering if it's infected.

I've changed the ring and rinsed my mouth with the piercing out.

Did anyone else have this same problem? Or know what it could be?
