Time - it can take 2 days; it can take a week! Nursing your baby often will help it come in faster and change from colostrum to milk. Mine came in at day 6 with my first, day 4 with my second and day 3 with my third.

If your milk needs to still come in try lots of skin to skin contact with baby and offering both breasts anytime baby wants to suck. Make sure to take care of your nipples, lots of coconut oil to keep them soft and moisturized! As far as foods to increase milk supply try oats, brewers yeast (or beer), and a milk supply tea. Also make sure you are eating and drinking enough in general. Hope it works out soon!

I made my own lactation cookies and froze the dough so I can pop them in the oven as needed. The milk promoting ingredients in it was oats, flax seed meal and Brewers yeast. I think pineapple juice is supposed to help, nuts, leafy greens, etc. But also like people are saying, time!!! Babies have tiny tummies the first few days so they don't need much and they get the good colostrum before milk comes in. Also this was mentioned but the best way to promote milk is to have baby keep trying!!
