Fertility surgery

I recently went to the fertility doctor for the first time, I'm 31 yo. After being married for five years and not conceiving i decided to take action. I have horrible menstrual cycles as well as PCOS. After a vaginal ultrasound my MD wants to do a laparoscopic hystoscopy to take a further look at the fibroid/possible endometriosis on my uterus. This is my first surgery and I'm worried. Anyone else have this done?
