Anyone else keeping gender a surprise ?

Just curious if anyone else is doing it, or done it before in a previous pregnancy. 
My husband and I have been set on doing this since we first started dating, and talked about  having kids. I’ve been surprised by how surprised people are that we are doing this. But I’m allll about it.

We’re do it for this baby too!!! (Our second). At first I didn’t know if id be able to do it but I think it’s so fun and exciting!! ☺️

We waited for our first and we will wait for the second too (due nov 14). It was honestly the best feeling when my husband called out the sex, and fun to have a little secret before we told our families and introduced her!

I'm also an insane planner but we had everything we needed when my son arrived and when we got home, it looked like Amazon had opened a warehouse on our porch.   We had plenty of boy clothes.

Yes, at this point we both want to keep it a surprise. My friend is due in April and she’s also waiting. It’s old school!

I didn’t but my cousin did! It was exciting but I’m a planner. There were plenty of gender neutral outfits that she got and had an over abundance of, I helped my aunt throw her shower and helped her put stuff away but I could tell when her daughter was born the first few weeks she was a little sad she didn’t have anything at all that screamed girl for her girl to wear. She wanted the bows and the pinks and florals for the baby once the baby was here. That’s the only hang up she had over it. I took her a ton of newborn and 0-3 baby girl stuff when we went back to visit and a friend of mine gave her bags of girls clothes in the following months. I suggest having a few girl things just maybe keep tags on or plan to donate. I know it sounds dumb but I didn’t seem to bond much with my first until we have the gender scan. We pick out a boy name and girl name before the gender scan and then our reveal is us revealing the gender and name to everyone else. It’s like it’s own special announcement for us so we will keep that tradition going. The nurses loved that my cousin didn’t know and all the nurses on the floor were signing her white board for what they thought the baby would be.

YES!!!! We did it with my first and it was fun! We did fertility treatments for a year to get pregnant with my son so I felt like everything was so planned. I wanted a surprise! So we are doing it again with baby #2! Team Green 💚

The surprise is the best part!! We kept it a surprise for our first because I wanted to! I think we will find out this time because I told my husband if we waited the first time we could find out for our second. I have to keep my promise!
