Unsure of problem

So I am 22 never had a baby and not pregnant. Last night I noticed I have a red spot right on my nipple. Now I had mastitis before and know what that is like. This is different it's not warm and doesn't hurt. I'm unsure whether to make a doc appointment because of that. What do you think I should do? Now I do shave the hair around so I'm thinking it could be an ingrown hair too. Help!
